3.1 Account Types

MeetMyStar offers two types of accounts:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must:

• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Be responsible for all actions taken through your account

3.3 Account Verification

We reserve the right to verify the identity and credentials of any user, particularly Artists. Verified accounts will display a verification badge. Submitting false information or impersonating others is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.

4.1 No Guarantee of Booking

Submitting a booking request does not guarantee that the Artist will accept your request. MeetMyStar is a platform that facilitates connections between clients and talent. The Artist has sole discretion to accept, decline, or negotiate any booking request.

• Provide accurate and complete event information
• Respond to Artist inquiries promptly
• Honor agreed-upon terms and payment schedules
• Provide a safe and appropriate environment for the Artist

4.4 Artist Responsibilities

• Respond to booking requests in a timely manner
• Keep availability calendar up to date
• Fulfill confirmed bookings professionally and as agreed
• Communicate any changes or issues promptly

5.1 Payment Processing

MeetMyStar facilitates connections but does not directly process payments between clients and artists. Payment arrangements, terms, and processing methods are agreed upon directly between the client and the artist.

All pricing displayed on artist profiles represents starting rates. Final pricing is subject to negotiation based on event specifics, duration, location, travel requirements, and other factors. Artists must clearly communicate final pricing before confirming a booking.

5.4 Refund Policy

Refund policies are determined by the agreement between the client and artist. MeetMyStar does not guarantee refunds and is not responsible for payment disputes. We encourage all parties to establish clear cancellation and refund terms in their formal agreements.

6.1 Your Content

When you create an account, upload photos, post reviews, or submit any content ("User Content") to MeetMyStar, you retain ownership of that content. However, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

6.2 Prohibited Content

You may not post or upload content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or discriminatory
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains false, misleading, or deceptive information
• Contains spam, viruses, or malicious code
• Violates privacy rights or contains personal information without consent

6.3 Platform Content

All content on MeetMyStar, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is owned by MeetMyStar or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

6.4 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, monitor, edit, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe it violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. However, we are not obligated to monitor all content and are not responsible for User Content posted by others.

7.1 Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when you:

• Create an account or profile
• Submit booking requests or communicate through the platform
• Use our services or interact with the website

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data to the best of our ability.

8.1 Platform as a Marketplace

MeetMyStar is a marketplace platform that connects clients with talent. We are not a party to any agreements made between clients and artists. We do not employ, represent, or control artists listed on our platform.

We are not responsible for: The conduct, quality, performance, reliability, or legality of any artist or client; the accuracy of profiles or listings; disputes between parties; or any damages arising from bookings or engagements.

8.2 "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Service

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeetMyStar, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from bookings, cancellations, or artist performance
• Damages exceeding the amount paid to MeetMyStar in the past 12 months

8.4 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MeetMyStar from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

9.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings. Upon termination, your right to access and use the Platform will immediately cease.

9.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms or any applicable laws
• Fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior
• Non-payment of fees or other financial obligations
• Extended period of account inactivity

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, you will lose access to your account and any content associated with it. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except where prohibited by law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MeetMyStar regarding your use of the Platform.
